Soccer!

This spring we signed Zach up for soccer. He was very hisitant when I told him he was going to be playing! He was worried becuase he has never played before, and didn't know the rules. But since he started it has been hard to make him stop!

His team is the Red Rockets and his coach has been coaching locally for 20+ years. He is pretty awesome. He keeps telling me that Zach is very coachable. And will go far in sports!

The girls waiting fo rthe game to start. As you can see Madison was not thrilled to be there! We told her too bad!

Zach's good buddy Emalee T. and her mom came for the game too!!

Here he is in action! He always starts the game!

Receiving the ball after a throw in!

Brynley enjoying the game and the warm......I mean hot weather!!

Brynn's fun weekend!

This last Friday Travis and I went out on a much needed date. We went out for my late birthday dinner and some shopping. I started looking for a sitter a few days before. We got Amber N. for Madiosn and Zachary. She is great, and the kids love her.

We chose our good friends Jim and Beth D. for Brynley. It had been a few months since the last time Brynn was over there. But we knew that they would have fun!

They jumped at the chance to watch Brynn. Their one and only kid is serving a Chruch mission in Paraguay. So I knew they would enjoy having Brynn over!

I made sure to pack all of her favorite books and toys! She loves to read books! Beth probably read this one at least 10+ times!!

There is a heart cut out on each page and Jim put his eye there! Brynn liked to poke it!

She liked to share her doddy! Dogs are her new favorite thing!!

New buddy!

This pretty much sums up the evening!! Thanks again Auntie Beth and Uncle Jim!!

Easter and other Stuff!

Our dearest Brynley is 15 months old today! WOW how time flies!
She is full of spunk and personality. She LOVES Zachary! She cries when he leaves the room, he is the only one that can make her laugh! She loves books and one in particular, "I love you More than Anything!" We all take turns reading it to her. She get's mad when no one will read it! Madison has it memorized, so if Brynn is fussy Madison will start reciting the book and Brynn stops to listen!!

This year for Easter I made the girls matching dresses. Well Madison already had her's and I found the left over fabric, so I made one for Brynn!! They matched from head to toe!!

 Happy Easter!

Hard Work Pays Off!

This past week at school, Madison received an award at school. Each quarter
the school recognizes those students who have excelled academically. The give citizenship, great author, honor roll and student of the quarter! Madison has gotten the great Author award twice. She has such a vivid imagination when it comes to writing and telling stories.

She never knows what she will get, it's a total surprise when her name is called. All the other awards had been given out and the only ones left were Student of the Quarter. There is one from each class, 3 for the whole grade level!!!

She was beyond excited to get it. She has been working really hard, and tries her best to be a positive person and always help others! We are so proud of her and all of her accomplishments!

This is quite the big occasion. Students from 1-3rd grades and parents!

You can almost feel her excitement!!!
