Madison had a great first day. They learned where the bathroom was, they had recess and snack, and made gingerbread men. She loved it. Here she is getting off the bus and the smile that tells us all we need to know!! And here's one of Zach waiting for the bus!

One down and many to come!!

First Day of School!!!
Well the day has come that Madison is finally in school!! She was so excited today when I woke her up @ 7:30am, this is early for a kid who usually sleeps until 9am! She has had her outfit picked out for a year! I am not joking, we bought this shirt last fall at Old Navy and it says "I got an A+ in sChool" (the s and h are scribbled out so it just says cool!) Anyway she told me that she was going to wear it because it means that she is smart! She already knows what an A+ stands for!!
She requested Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and I was more that willing to make them for her. Well she only ate about half because she was sooooo excited!
I took her and dropped her off at the gate and said goodbye! I didn't cry! I can't figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing! She told me last night not to! And she ran off. Well I drove around the other side of the school and saw her following the "big kids" I was about to run over and save her from the 4th grade when Sierra Beltran a friend from church took her by the hand and lead her back to her class door!!! How sweet! Okay that made me get a bit teary!! And now I wait for the bus to drop her off at about 12:30p.
I am so proud of my smart kid! She will do just fine!
